Billie Eilish announces massive world tour with a stop in BC

One of the biggest names in music will be hitting the road for a massive world tour later this year.

Billie Eilish will release her highly-anticipated third studio album, Hit Me Hard and Soft, on May 17, and the tour that follows will go by the same name.

It begins with a run of North American shows this fall before heading to Australia, Europe and the United Kingdom in 2025.

Among the dozens of Billie Eilish shows now scheduled over the next 15 months is a stop in Vancouver, British Columbia, as she’ll play Rogers Arena on Tuesday, Dec. 3.

She will also play a pair of shows at Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle, on Thursday, Dec. 5, and Friday, Dec. 6, giving BC fans another option to see the 22-year-old in person.

Hit Me Hard and Soft was written by Billie Eilish and FINNEAS, her brother and long-time collaborator, who also produced the album.

Her first two studio albums, released in 2019 and 2021, peaked at No. 1 on the album chart all over the world and the expectation is that this upcoming third album will do the same.

While a tracklist has been confirmed, the singer out of Los Angeles has not released a single, which means it will feature 10 brand new tracks when it’s released May 17.

Tickets to see Billie Eilish in Vancouver, Seattle or anywhere else on the North American leg of her tour will go on sale to the general public on Friday, May 3.
